About Equilibrium EOSDT
EOSDT was a USD-pegged stablecoin on the EOS blockchain created by Equilibrium. It was overcollateralised by EOS tokens deposited as collateral. The project has largely become inactive.
EOSDT was a decentralised, overcollateralised stablecoin issued on the EOS blockchain by Equilibrium. Users would lock EOS as collateral in a smart contract position to mint EOSDT at a minimum collateralisation ratio. The system used a liquidation mechanism to protect solvency when collateral values dropped.
Equilibrium later pivoted to build a parachain on Polkadot and the EOS-based EOSDT system is no longer actively maintained. The project is considered defunct; liquidity and activity on the token are minimal.
