About Fantom USD
Fantom USD (fUSD) was a stablecoin native to the Fantom blockchain. It could be minted by depositing FTM and other assets as collateral in the Fantom DeFi suite. The stablecoin was part of Fantom's native DeFi ecosystem and is now considered defunct.
Fantom USD (FUSD) was a native decentralised stablecoin on the Fantom blockchain,
minted by depositing FTM as collateral into the Fantom DeFi suite. It was pegged to the US dollar through an
overcollateralisation mechanism. The project is now defunct following the broader wind-down of the original
Fantom DeFi ecosystem. The Fantom blockchain itself later rebranded and upgraded to Sonic.
The token contract on Fantom at address 0xAd84341756Bf337f5a0164515b1f6F993D194E1f is no longer actively
supported.
