Arcadia Finance is a decentralised finance protocol that helps people put their crypto assets to work more efficiently. It was first introduced in 2022 by a small team with backgrounds in early Bitcoin mining and crypto trading, and its initial funding round was led by Global Founders Capital, with later backing from investors including Coinbase Ventures.
The project began on Ethereum and Optimism before finding its main home on Base, the network incubated by Coinbase. There it grew into one of the busier liquidity-management services, becoming known for letting users manage liquidity positions and margin accounts through automated tools rather than manual, step-by-step transactions. In 2025 the team launched its own governance token, AAA, giving the community a say in how the protocol develops.
Today Arcadia operates across Base, Optimism and Unichain, and its smart contracts have been reviewed by a range of independent security auditors.
