Tori Finance issues trUSD, a token designed to track one US dollar. Holders can stake trUSD for strUSD, whose value in trUSD reflects variable rewards from Tori's trading activity. Tori operates the native staking product. The separate Tori ecosystem vault uses Upshift infrastructure and is curated by RockawayX.
Tori's strategy overview describes short-term lending instruments and trades that buy and sell related investments at the same time. These seek income from interest and pricing differences while limiting exposure to broader market movements. Backing assets are held both onchain and with external custodians. Trading losses, custodian or counterparty failures and contract faults can reduce value or prevent timely withdrawals, as explained in the risk disclosures.
As at 29 October 2026, native strUSD withdrawals require a seven-day cooldown followed by a claim for trUSD; the delay can be changed by the operator. Direct trUSD minting and redemption require identity checks and an approved wallet. Staking, obtaining trUSD on a secondary market and converting trUSD back into USDC are separate operations.
