Trading strategy
Decades of experiencing euphoric highs and devastating lows has taught us the brutal reality of managing risk. If you don’t manage risk, you won’t have a long term career as a trader, it’s that simple.
We trade a wide range of markets full time, along with running a BTC options hedge fund - designing and executing sophisticated, systematic volatility strategies for a handpicked circle of hedge funds and family offices. The results speak for themselves: exceptional returns, engineered for those who understand that real alpha is earned, not marketed.
For this strategy, we will wait for over and undersold conditions to fade the market in mean reversion plays. We will execute break out strategies at given levels as well.
Risk management
Different assets require different risk management approaches. We use derivatives to hedge risk and outright stops where there are no derivative alternatives.
We'll keep risk low when fading markets and use simple, outright stops in others. While drawdowns always occur in trading, we rarely take any that cause any long term damage.
