About the vault
Capital in the vault represents exposure to Notes issued by Salt Markets FT, Compartment Alpha.
Note proceeds are deployed into SME financing strategies through facility-level positions with established lending partners. Each compartment is ring-fenced under Luxembourg securitisation law: recourse on the notes is limited to the assets of Compartment Alpha, segregated from all other compartments of the fund.
Positions are short-duration and repaid from contractual receivables, with junior capital absorbing first loss ahead of Salt and exposure diversified across multiple originators and thousands of underlying loans.
