What Is Protocol?
In decentralised finance, a protocol is non-custodial financial service.
In protocol, its users are doing directly transactions on-chain with each other without intermediates, in peer-to-peer manner. Protocols can be built into a blockchain or be smart contract based.
Unlike in traditional finance, in decentralised finance the user is always in control of their assets, making protocols different from centralised services.
