What Is Spot market?

A spot market is a market where actual assets are traded as the opposite of interest to the assets.

• In cryptocurrency markets, spot market is where you receive actual tokens for your purchases.

• In stock markets, you will receive stock certificate

• In commodities markets (oil, wheat, etc.), you will receive a physically delivered item

Spot market itself does not have shorting, or leverage.
