What Is Strategy age?
In trading strategy, the age refers to the duration how long the strategy has been doing live trading.
Performance metrics need enough live trading data to be available to be calculated. Longer the strategy has been trading, more high quality and refined its data get.
If live trading data is not available, estimations of the strategy performance can be made based on backtests.
