What Is Trading pair?
In decentralised finance, trading pair represents a market for a two or more tokens.
An example trading pair can be BNB/BUSD trading pair on PancakeSwap <https://tradingstrategy.ai/trading-view/binance/pancakeswap-v2/bnb-busd>__.
Trading pairs are named as a “ticker” based on their base token and quote token symbols.
Sometimes trading pairs are also called pools, because they are liquidity pool mechanism based.
Unlike in traditional finance, in decentralised finance a trading pair can also consists of three or more assets. This is especially popular in stablecoin markets.
