Trading strategy
Pullback Trend Following is a medium-term systematic strategy that captures directional moves in liquid crypto markets. It identifies established trends and enters on controlled pullbacks, using multiple confirmation filters before opening a position.
Risk is managed through predefined stop-losses, dynamic position sizing, controlled leverage, and staged exits—locking in partial profits while staying exposed to larger moves.
Target: ~25–50% annual return, with drawdowns typically around 15% under normal conditions. These are long-term objectives, not guarantees—actual results will vary with market conditions.
The strategy performs best in sustained trending markets. In choppy, weak, or directionless periods, it favors selectivity over frequent trading, which may result in flat or slightly negative performance.
Risk management
Risk management is embedded in every trade. Each position uses predefined stop-losses and dynamic sizing based on current equity and market conditions. Leverage is deliberately capped at 2× effective exposure per position, regardless of higher leverage available on the platform. Exposure is reduced through staged exits, locking in gains while keeping partial exposure to larger trends. The strategy targets ~15% drawdown, with 25% set as a hard termination threshold. If the fund falls 25% from its high-water mark, it will be closed rather than risk further losses. The goal: attractive risk-adjusted returns through capital preservation, disciplined exposure, and strict downside control.
