Trading strategy
The SK System is a sophisticated trend-following algorithm engineered for the Bitcoin futures market. It integrates Volatility Breakout mechanics with advanced Momentum Filtering to capture high-conviction market moves. The strategy is designed to systematically filter out "market noise" during choppy, sideways consolidation, selectively targeting "Big Move" phases where the Risk/Reward (R/R) ratio is optimally maximized.
The "SK System" is a sophisticated volatility breakout algorithm optimized for Cryptocurrency Stocks on the 15m timeframes. Key technical components include:
- Volatility Breakout: Uses ATR-based dynamic channels to identify high-probability entry points to achieve both high win rates and return stability
- Noise Filtering: Integrates ADX (Average Directional Index) and 'Strong Bar' momentum filters to eliminate over 90% of whipsaws during sideways markets.
Risk management
Dynamic Trailing Stop: Upon entry, the system establishes a volatility-adjusted stop-loss. As the trade moves into profit, exit price is adjusted in real-time based on price trends to lock in gains.
Volatility-Based Position Sizing: To mitigate Maximum Drawdown, it avoids over-leveraging single positions. Margin allocation is dynamically calibrated based on realized market volatility.
Position Building: To protect share value, the system minimizes slippage and transaction costs by building positions only when a definitive market structure shift is confirmed.
Pre-emptive Trend Reversal Exit: If the system detects a breach of mid/long-term moving averages or significant weakening momentum, positions are closed proactively before reaching target price to shield capital from sharp reversals.
