Trading strategy
The strategy goes 1.25x long Solana on golden crosses of the 14- vs 31-day SMA. It goes short 1x on death crosses, using an optimized leverage for long & short positions. Historically, that has been the best moving average combination.
Long and short leverage levels are calibrated to the settings that delivered the strongest historical performance in backtests.
Gerhard already runs 2 out of the top 10 Hyperliquid vaults in terms of TVL.
Risk management
We take a controlled approach with regard to portfolio exposure.
Historically, the strategy's maximum drawdown has been lower compared to buying and holding Solana.
